"Mary Ellyn Hazen has written about the darker side of life that sometimes occurs to the families of Agency Officers.  Her story is about a marriage and family falling apart when her case officer husband succumbed to alcoholism, drugs, extramarital affairs, and paranoia.  Ms Hazen leaves us a cautionary tale detailing what can happen when someone devotes everything to his job and little to his family.  As she observes, "People never think what a very destructive life it can be, when you lead a double life, it can be very stressful."
